pontoon boatsStarved Rock Adventures offers pontoon boat  rentals daily, weather and river conditions permitting, from May to September. All of our boats are safe and modern watercraft. You need no special license to rent and operate our boats and we provide you training so that you may operate them safely. We also provide all of your safety equipment which includes life jackets for every single member of your group. Rentals are restricted to persons 23 or older with a valid driver’s license, and each driver of a Starved Rock Adventures watercraft must be 23 years old or older with a valid driver’s license as well.

All of our pontoon boats are 24 foot and are licensed for up to 12 passengers. They all come with complimentary gas grills so that you can bar-be-que out while you are on the water, and they are set up to pull tubes, which we have available for rent at $40. Pontoon boats may be rented for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours at a time and are operated on about 14 miles of water. Pontoon boat guests have access to our private island beach where you can picnic, sun, swim, or fish. We regret that we are not able to allow you to switch passengers on during your rental time, and please remember that each person on board must be counted individually regardless of age or size.

Below is our price schedule. Please be advised that guests are also required to pay a fuel surcharge upfront in addition to the rental price at the time of reservation which varies by watercraft, and once a reservation has been made it cannot be cancelled for any reason.  There are no rebates for late arrivals or early returns.  Rainchecks are issued when Starved Rock Adventures, Inc. finds the weather or river conditions unsafe for boating at the scheduled time for the rental.
